We are proud to say that we were just retained to replace a 110 ton chiller In midtown Manhattan.  This project will include the removal of an existing lithium bromide system and a complete replacement with modular chillers and air cooled outdoor condensers.

I have two little ones, and haoltugh my older one has had moments of not listening, for the most part, this is not too terribly difficult of a task. I carry the little one, and hold the hand of the older one. When I get to the car, I open the one door on the side that the little one goes into. I get my older one to climb in and across, and then make a game out of it. I race him to see who can get their seatbelt on the fastest. Can I finish my young one before he gets his top part on? It is a fun challenge that he normally looks forward to. I then finish the bottom, and make sure he is safe and secure before we leave. Now, don't get me wrong, there are days when that does not work because he is tired or grumpy, and those are the days that you just have to figure out new ways to deal with two little ones at once! Good luck, and it does get easier!!

Large plastic bins if set up properly can be just as good as an aquarium, for the babies a 10 gal. tank would be perfect for the first couple of years, how ever they will also need a tank heater and a basking lightbaby turtles are very hard to keep just due to the fact that they require a lot of care attentionGoogle “baby turtle care sheet” and you should find a lot of helpful material since your low on funds, see if any of your friends have any extra tanks that they are not using that you can borrow till you can get the proper setup im sorry to say that $ 50 just wont cut it for what you want

The wood is screwed together (evenly spaced) with large 6” screws designed for joining landscaping timbers. The corners are then drilled using a long wood bit and 110v drill. Also drill three holes on long side and two holes on short evenly spaced. Hammer rebar into holes down into ground. You may want to trim rebar depending on length so it goes at least 2’ into ground below wood.

How nice! We have an 18 yr RES that we “saved”. I would love to have a pond for him. Have you called a local reptile shop or maybe the Zoo? Ours is still in a large aquarium…half water then rock for him to sun on top of. Keeping him warm would be the issue. If he has been inside for a good length of time (like ours) I don’t know how he would adapt. They are aggressive so being with other turtles isn’t a problem, but climate is another story.

fish had to be held for 6 weeks in an above ground swimming pool. Could not wait any more. My degree is in Biology, had kept fish for 40 years, know what I am doing. I supervised the concrete installing so we were very careful to not get any in the water. I have a well that puts out 1300 gallons of fresh water an hour. No problem changing out water or handling ammonia and nitrites while filter was kicking in, Lost no fish in transfer. 3 years later all is well.

Not to worry. It was well water, they had been in the same temp and type of well water at our previous address. Noise and dust was not a problem. We were careful. Three years later, all is fine, no fish losses. I can add 1300 gallons an hour of fresh well water any time I want. Helped with getting the new filter started. Never had any ammonia or nitrite spikes. Thanks for the concern.

re: Chiller Replacement

This is a great post that gives plenty of options to check a site’s mobile readiness. What a great resource to share. I have been having second thoughts about making a mobile site, but I guess it is now a must. Thanks and best of luck.
