Major Boiler Repair & Reinstallation

It is unfortunate to say, but there are contractors installing equipment that they are not qualified to install. This gives contractors as a whole a bad reputation because the homeowner uses this particular experience as the one single experience in which to judge all contractors. In this particular case, the client had a multiple boiler system installed by a competing contractor. The owner had shopped around and was convinced that he had made the right purchasing decision. The homeowner worked in the financial district as a commodities trader. He did not take the time to properly research the systems he was purchasing or the installing contractor for that matter. This homeowner admitted to me that had he met us initially he could have saved thousands of dollars by simply spending the right amount of money on the right job.

This was a matter of a very well educated man taking for granted the level of complexity that goes into each and every job. It is also another illustration of how a bad purchasing decision could turn out to be the most expensive job, usually considerably more than the correct job would have cost had it been installed by the right contractor.

The moral of the story is that a cheaper job is just that...a cheaper job! Good jobs aren't cheap, and cheap jobs aren't good!
