This
particular house is located in Water Mill (in the
Hamptons). The homeowner would rather remain nameless,
but the pictures are worth a thousand words. The house
is about 26,000 sq. ft. and it has 7 independent heating
and cooling systems with 4 boilers, 2 water heaters, 2
pool heaters, HEPA air filtration systems and more
digital controls than you can shake a stick at.
Most of all, this house is built with Temp-Art Quality!

This picture doesn't show any of our work, but it gives
you an idea of how LARGE this house is.
The picture was
taken about 300' away, and only 1/2 of the house can be
seen in the shot! All of the mechanical system were
designed and installed by Temp-Art.

Another view of the boilers along with one of the 7
Carrier Ultra High efficiency variable speed zoning
systems. Here you can see the layout that runs
throughout all of the installations in this house.
The
HEPA filter is located about the middle of the picture,
and the blower is located on the right. All of the
ductwork is custom fabricated in our own shop.

Did you ever wonder what 1.2 Million BTU's looks like?
Well, here you have it. This system was designed by us
and installed by us. The complexity of this system
isn't immediately apparent, but rest assured, there is
quite a control system that works this baby! |

The
homeowner wanted the units away from the house, so
we tunneled underground and placed them away from
the house.
All
of the piping and electrical control wires are
protected by a SEALED 4" PVC sleeve that runs from
this location, underground and through the
foundation into the house.

Much of
the downstairs ductwork was put underground.
As usual, we do it our way! All of the
ductwork is built up, insulated and sealed in foam.
Then we add strengthening rails to the top to assure
the ductwork doesn't collapse under the weight of
the concrete. As an added measure, we affix
plywood to the top of the assembly (not shown in
this photo). |
